SPC Travel Payments
The way SPC processes travel payments is changing
New rules to make approved travel payments easier and more secure
From Wednesday, 19 June 2024, SPC Finance will deposit approved travel payments directly into bank accounts entred in Nutrip. This includes per diems, airport transfers and other approved travel payments.
To prepare for this change, staff travellers are required to add their bank account details to their Nutrip profile. This can be done now by clicking on the button below, or later, when you confirm your next trip in Nutrip.
Once you have updated your profile, all future travel payments will be automatically deposited into your bank account when you confirm your trip. This includes authorised travel allowances paid to travel companions linked to your profile.
Important: SPC Finance will not process travel payments for approved travel until bank account details have been added to your Nutrip profile. You will be prompted to add bank account details if they are missing for trips confirmed after Wednesday, 19 June 2024.
The new measures have been put in place to make it easier and more secure for SPC to manage approved travel payments.
Non SPC (External) Travellers
SPC staff arranging travel for external travellers can add bank account details to the traveller’s Nutrip profile. Alternatively, staff can send a link to the external traveller requesting this information. Cash travel payments will still be available for external travellers only. However, you need to contact finance helpdesk prior to confirm it’s possible and the request is eligible. Finance will study cash requests, on a case-by-case basis.
Payment Advice and Refunds
SPC Finance's bank will send payment advice for each bank transfer. This will inform travellers that the transfer has been processed successfully from SPC's side and you should receive the funds in the coming days (Unless there is any issue with the recipient bank details).
According to the travel policy, refunds may be requested in case of overpayment.
